The luck of the Irish returns to Dover with an in-person race for 2026. Dover Main Street’s 12th Annual Run Before You Crawl 5K takes place Saturday, March 14 at 9:00AM, starting and finishing near St. Mary Church on 4th Street.

Registration HQ, race start, and finish will all be based at Harvest Church, located at the corner of 4th Street and Grove Street.

This race kicks off the 2026 Dover Race Series with a new course that blends familiar ground with fresh territory. The route begins on Fourth Street in front of Harvest Church, heads toward Washington Street via Snows Court and Prospect Street, climbs the infamous Whittier Street hill, descends 6th Street, and returns via Chestnut Street.

Registration Fees

• 5K Adult: $25 (increases to $30 on March 13)

• 5K Child: $15 (ages 12 & under)

• 5K + Pub Crawl: $45

• Pub Crawl Only: $25

The first 100 race registrants receive a free event t-shirt
(DRS Season Pass Holders excluded)

Race bibs may be picked up Friday, March 13, from 4:00–7:00PM at Harvest Church (47 4th Street).

The Pub Crawl 2026

The 2026 Restaurant & Pub Crawl is back—and it’s the ultimate way to kick off the weekend. We’ve teamed up with Sun Cruiser, Sinless Spirits, Guinness, and downtown Dover restaurants and bars for an afternoon you won’t want to miss.

From 11:00AM–3:00PM, more than 15 participating locations will offer drink specials and free appetizers to crawlers.

Use the crawl map to track your stops and collect a stamp at each location for entries into the Run Before You Crawl raffle. The live drawing will take place at Fury’s Publik House at the end of the crawl (attendance not required to win).

Keep an eye out for the Leprechaun, along with the Sinless Spirits, Sun Cruiser, and Guinness crews—they’ll be roaming with prizes and surprises throughout the day.

This event is rain or shine.

Pub Crawl Wristbands

Wristbands may be purchased online or in person at any participating location. Wristbands will be available for purchase at all locations beginning February 10 and will remain on sale through the end of the event.

Online wristbands will NOT be mailed and can ONLY be picked up during the event at designated locations. Pickup options for online wristband purchases:

Dover Main Street is partnering with The Dover Public Library’s Summer Reading Program to bring you the Tiny Art Project! Throughout the month of July, you can pick up a 4”x4” canvas at participating locations. Paint whatever your heart desires on this canvas!! Get creative! The size of the canvas is too small to overthink or worry about perfectionism. Just have fun with it.

Then, return your canvas to participating locations to participate in a city wide art show throughout the month of August!
