dover unveils 9/11 Memorial

We are extremely proud to be one of the Platinum sponsors of Dover’s 9/11 Memorial. Dover unveiled the memorial on the 25th anniversary. The memorial is situated downtown in the Cocheco Mill Courtyard, the site of the Dover Fire Department’s first remembrance ceremony for the victims of the 9/11 attacks. Every year since, the Dover Fire Department has gathered to pay tribute to the lives that were lost, including 4 people with a connection to Dover: Douglas Stone, Kathleen and Michael Shearer, and David Scott Suarez.

The memorial was funded by donations and we are proud to be in the company of many generous businesses and community members.

It is a place where Dover visitors and residents can go and reflect, and will serve to educate the future generations who do not remember or who were not born.
